Accurate Development will proudly build you and your family a beautiful custom home! We custom build anywhere in the Des Moines or surrounding areas. You select the home site, the design of the home, the style, the floor plan and all of the features. Our in-house draftsmen will work with you from the beginning to help with the plans for your dream home. Deciding on your interior/exterior selections can be easy with our interior designer showing you many options from our design center.
We know building a home takes time and patience, but Accurate Development can make the process run very smoothly with our professional and knowledgable staff.
Our Building Process
Step 1:
The initial process of building your custom Accurate home begins when you meet with Kevin Johnson and share your dreams and your cost parameters.
Step 2:
The second step is to select the perfect home site. Accurate Development has many wonderful sites available or we can help you locate one. Each home site has its own unique characteristics. Those characteristics may affect the elevation and floor plan of your home.
Step 3:
With the first two steps completed it is now time to select your home style.
- 1 1/2 Story: Owner's Suite is located on the 1st floor, secondary bedrooms are located on the 2nd floor.
- 2 Story: Owner's Suite is located on the 2nd floor.
- Ranch: There is a main level Owner's Suite and a lower level.
Step 4:
Now is the time to identify specific design considerations you may have. Our in-house draftsmen will listen to your wants and needs and will help you design your dream home. They will meet with you to translate your ideas into drawings. Throughout the design process they help you by making suggestions and changes until you are completely satisfied with the final plan.
Step 5:
Our designer, like our in-house draftsmen, help you select important interior and exterior finishes. She will walk you through step by step and help you choose trim, cabinets, countertops, flooring and more!
Our Design Center
Our design center provides the opportunity and flexibility to work with our designer in house to create a home that is uniquely yours.
We also partner with some wonderful professional vendors that can meet with you individually to explore more choices or for further customization.
We will guide you through the selection process step by step and assist you with both standard selections and any special features that will help meet your family's individual needs. Whether it is as small as a cabinet knob or as complex as a cabinet layout, we are here to help!
